BLISS™ Motors use radio frequency (RF) to communicate. RF is the most effective telecommunication technology. BLISS™ runs on a frequency of 433.92Mhz and is bi-directional, which means that control and position information can flow from a controller/bridge to the motor and from the motor back to a controller/bridge.
-

-
The bridge has Wi-Fi to communicate with mobile devices and internet routers. It also utilizes RF communication to send and receive messages to BLISS™ motors.
-
No, the battery is designed for the full life of the motor.
-
It depends on many factors like the size and weight of the window covering that the motor is operating along with how many times a day it is operated. Generally, each charge will last approximately 500 up/down cycles on a single charge.
-
The first charge will take 6 subsequent hours of charging. You cannot overcharge the battery. The motor and battery both have integrated overcharge protection circuits. This means that the battery will limit the charge it will accept if plugged in longer than necessary and the motor turns into a hard-wired solution with a battery backup.
